LONGEST.
WEEK.
EVER.
But maybe that's just me.
Anyways, here are some things to do in Happy Valley.
Friday night, there will be a free showing of Water at the Orem Public Library. I saw this movie during my Freshman year at BYU. It's really good, but a bit depressing. I recommend it- just know that it's not a feel-good flick. The showing starts at 6:30 PM.
Also, Tangled will be at the Dollar Theater at the Wilkinson Center on BYU Campus this weekend. AWESOME movie (and definitely feel-good). This may require a BYU ID... I'm not sure. There will be a showing at 7 PM and another at 9:15 PM on both Friday and Saturday.
If you're into men's a cappella groups, Vocal Point is having a concert at 7PM on Friday and Saturday at the Covey Center for the Arts. Tickets are $10-$12.
Here's a sample:
The event that I REALLY want to go to (but can't due to prior obligations) is the Rugby Wasatch Cup. It's BYU v Utah at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy. It's $3 with a BYU Student All-Sports Pass. They're easy to borrow, if you know someone who has one. As for Utah students... I don't know what kind of discount they can get or how that works, but if you have the means YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GO. It's Saturday evening at 4 PM.
Have a great Thursday- and if you have any ideas for Liz and I, let us know!
